We really like this entry level printer. We like it so much we have one and use it for prototypes while our bigger printers Kachug all day and night. For $249 plus a $50 coupon this is a great deal to start you on your printing journey.
So what make is so great? Right out of the box it only takes 10 minutes to set up. The vendor states it can be done in 5 but that is a little short.
Most entry level printers do not auto level. Heck even some mid-levels do not. This unit has automatic leveling with over 20 data collection points providing a 5 minute automatic calibration.
The glass bed give very smooth bottom prints. This is great because you avoid printing a “raft” under the main print. Rafts waste material and make print time longer. The bed is always heated to help material stick to the glass plate when you first start printing.
There is a filament detection system that shuts the print down if you run out of filament. My $1500 QIDI Max does not have that option.
Very nice print quality; check out the pictures at Amazon.
LABISTS 3D printer supports PLA, ABS and HIPS filament and is compatible with Windows and Mac systems.
Sorry, no wireless connection to your computer, however you can connect and send the print via USB cable
